Jessica Blanchard
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Jessica Blanchard is a Master of Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University, currently completing her practicum placement. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and has 10 years experience working within the social services field, including 5 years working in child welfare with Children’s Aid Society supporting children, youth, and families in our community.

Jessica takes a trauma-informed, client-centered, and collaborative approach to counselling, focusing on what works best for each person and helping clients create meaningful and sustainable change. She is committed to meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them as they work toward growth. She also values a holistic approach and may integrate mindfulness-based strategies to support overall well-being.

Jessica is particularly interested in supporting youth and individuals navigating anxiety, relationship and family challenges, trauma, stress, burnout, caregiver distress, emotional regulation, self-harm, and substance use.
